Australia
There's no place in the senior squad for Royals goalkeeper Adam Federici who continues to miss out with a knee injury. However young midfielder Ryan Edwards has been named in the Young Socceroos Squad for two friendly matches against Portugal U20s on the 11th & 14th of October.
Republic of Ireland
As we reported a couple of weeks ago, Alex Pearce has lost his place in the Republic of Ireland squad for the World Cup Qualifiers against Germany and the Faroe Islands.
There is some good news for Reading's Irish contingent, with young defenders Shane Griffin and Pierce Sweeney both called up for the U19s squad to play the UEFA U19 qualifying tournament where they'll play hosts Luxembourg, Macedonia and Germany between the 11th and 16th of October.
Wales
Three Reading players have been named in Chris Coleman's squad to play World Cup Qualifiers against Scotland and Croatia. Chris Gunter, Hal Robson-Kanu and Simon Church have all been included with the first of the two qualifiers at Cardiff on Friday.
Jamaica
Adrian Mariappa has been named in the Reggae Boyz squad for their World Cup qualifier against Guatemala next week. Jamaica are currently level on points with the USA and Guatemala in the third qualifying round with two to play.
Antigua
No confirmation yet as to whether Mikele Leigertwood will be involved in Angigua's qualifier against Guatamala next week. However given his injury problems and the fact that Antigua are all but out of the competition, I'd expect him to stay at home.
Latvia
Kaspars Gorkss is expected to lead Latvia for their World Cup Qualifiers against Slovakia and Liechtenstein. Latvia are currently fifth and pointless in Group G, and will be hoping for some positive results to get closer to group leaders Bosnia and Greece,
Russia
Despite a goal at the weekend there's no place for Pavel Pogrebnyak in Russia's squad for their qualifiers against Portugal and Azerbaijan.
