Alex McCarthy: 7
McCarthy had a few problems with the swirling winds in the stadium (open corners at a football ground?! Madness) but as ever, he made every stop he had to - one reaction save from 12 yards and a couple of less troubling efforts.
Chris Gunter: 7
Slowly becoming Mr Consistent, Gunter had another solid game at right-back, making one vital clearance and setting up the first via a high looping ball which Bywater couldn't deal with. Tactical genius...
Alex Pearce: 8
Capped off his best performance in a while with a solid finish, and whilst he picked up a yellow card with a rash challenge, the fact that Millwall barely challenged McCarthy in goal was testament to Pearce and Gorkss.
Kaspars Gorkss: 7
Another man who's looked reborn in the last few weeks, Gorkss had another commanding game at centre-back, and the whole team performing better takes the load off the centre-backs' shoulders.
Jordan Obita: 7
Millwall tried to challenge Obita at left-back, just as Blackpool did last week, but he dealt with the challenge well, and got forward to support McAnuff whenever possible.
Garath McCleary: 8
The run of form continues for McCleary, who set up the second with a good header back across goal, and always looked a danger when running at defenders.
Hope Akpan: 6
Akpan was injured early on in a robust challenge with a Millwall player, but for the first half hour he looked confident and energetic.
Danny Williams: 9
Again, Williams was everywhere on the park, tough in the tackle and solid in the pass. Managed to grab his first goal for the Royals with a composed finish. Here's hoping he can keep up this level of performance until May.
Jobi McAnuff: 8
McAnuff set up the third goal for Williams with a trademark mazy run, and could have been in on goal but for a cynical late challenge in the middle of the park. Just another player who's thriving on confidence.
Pavel Pogrebnyak: 8
The big Russian loved the physical challenge given to him by the Millwall defenders, holding the ball up well and keeping his composure to net the first of the game.
Adam Le Fondre: 7
A goalless game for Alfie comes as a bit of a shock of late, but he was still buzzing around the pitch and making a nuisance of himself.
---
Jake Taylor: 7
Taylor didn't look at all out of place after replacing Akpan on the half-hour mark, putting himself about the pitch in committed fashion.
Hal Robson-Kanu: 6
Nick Blackman: 6
