This isn't a move that should come as any real surprise given that Taylor is well and truly third choice behind Alex McCarthy and Adam Federici. Behind those two you've also got promising young goalkeeper Jon Henley who's getting playing time at Aldershot but was deemed good enough to be named in a handful of Premier League match day squads last season.
Taylor has played four times for Reading, all during last year's relegation season but his experience and good nature around the training ground helped him earn a new one-year deal in the summer.
The former Arsenal goalkeeper could now feature against Kaspars Gorkss and Latvia in a friendly tonight at Huish Park.
Reading aren't due to play Yeovil again until March, but Taylor will have the chance to help Reading as Yeovil face Blackpool and Watford over the next few weeks.
