News Bites - 21st April 2011

Most of the news is understandably leaning towards tomorrow night's game at Elland Road - Peter Beagrie (for Sky Sports) says he thought McDermott should have won March's Manager of the Month whilst previewing the game, whilst Neil Johnston (Fanhouse) reckons the pressure is on Simon Grayson's side (there's a short interview with Ian Harte too). Sporting Life, meanwhile, are reporting that Leeds striker Luciano Becchio is doubtful for the match.

A few interviews with Brian McDermott today too:

Boss' delight with squad depth (Reading OS)

Brian expecting an attacking game (Reading OS)

McDermott: Don't waste this opportunity (Reading Chronicle)

Winger says the only way is up for Royals (Reading Chronicle) - Anthony Smith talks to Jobi McAnuff about automatic promotion, Elland Road, and last week's win against Leicester.

Ledge ticking off a game at a time (Reading OS) - Mikele Leigertwood talks about his undefeated record away from home and the confidence in the camp.

Allocation for Coventry now 4,000 (Reading OS) - last away game of the season, grab those inflatables and get to the Ricoh!

Reading helped to raise Bar (Daily Star) - a nice article about goalkeeping coach Sal Bibbo joining Barcelona's academy camps this week.

And the Blackpool Gazette has named its top 5 Premier League games of all time - our 6-4 loss away to Tottenham makes it in.
