Many sources are reporting links between Shane Long and Everton these last two days - Footballfancast, Tribal Football, Daily Express, Liverpool Daily Post and the Daily Mail, in fact. The same quotes from Shane as with the last set of rumours, though - but with many outlets picking up on the story, it looks increasingly likely Shane'll be gone if Reading don't get promoted this season.

But fear not! Reading have signed two young Australian brothers - Cameron Edwards is 19, plays in central midfield and has played for Australia at youth level, whilst his brother Ryan came from the Australian Institute of Sport and has played for Australia U20s.
