Week 3

Week 3 ended with another victory for the Tilehurst End, this week the mighty Royals were taking on Coventry City and it was the Tilehurst End that came out victorious with a 4-0 score line. The match started off very openly with both teams creating chances to score, however the finishing for both sides left a lot to be desired. The deadlock was finally broken after around 35 minutes when Merlon King slotted in from a one on one.

Coventry took the ascendency in the second half with King adding two more to complete his hat-trick and a goal from Baker completed the rout. 4-0 to Coventry the final score, though it slightly flattered Coventry as both teams created a lot of chances but ultimately it was the quality of the finishing that proved the difference.
