Reading FC Transfer Rumours - June 28, 2011

Here's a few more transfer rumours from the past few days as the Shane Long and Matt Mills bandwagons keep rolling.

Outbound
After being linked with Stoke last week it now seems Wolves are leading the race to sign our skipper Matt Mills, with Sky Sports reporting that Reading have rejected a second bid for the defender.
Wolves have publically denied such a bid but reports in yesterdays Express and Star suggest Mills will meet with Brian McDermott today stating that he wants to leave the club, with bidding up to £3.75m
The Shane Long transfer bandwagon has woken up again, with Eurosport suggesting the Irish International could leave the club for Sunderland in a £7m move. Interestingly the same article also claims that Noel Hunt is wanted by West Ham for £1.75m. The Daily Mail is also reporting Sunderland's interest.
Jobi McAnuff has again been linked with QPR after their 'Fake Hoops' wide man Wayne Routledge left the club. McAnuff has recently expressed his desire to stay with the club and help the team's youngsters though.
Inbound:
The East Anglian Times reports that neither Reading nor Ipswich have made a bid for defender Magnus Okuonghae. Given that his nickname is also the Beast, this might cause some confusion should the club move forward and sign him!
The Crawley Observer has us listed as one of a handfull of clubs chasing Inverness striker Adam Rooney.
And finally Matt Mills has been talking up his brother on Twitter claiming that he'd love to play on the same team as Doncaster full-back Joseph! could Mills be persuaded to stay at the club if his brother was recruited?... well it worked for the Hunts!
