7 Reasons To Look Forward To Reading FC Being Back In The Premier League

So we're back in the big time for the first time since 2008. For those of you who have forgotten, here's a flavour of the things you can look forward to now that Reading are back in the Premier League.

Football First & Match Of The Day

Say goodbye to waiting up till past midnight for a couple of minutes on the Football League show or waiting for single camera highlights on local news or SSN. Hello glorious in depth multi-camera HD highlights on Sky's Football First and the BBC's Match of The Day.

Increased media attention and analysis

Not that you need anything other then the Tilehurst End ;) but now we can look forward to filling a few more column inches in the Sunday papers and getting more bits and bobs on Football Focus, Sky Sports News and other national media.

More Top London Away Days

This season we had Palace, Millwall, Watford and West Ham, next season we'll have Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham and Tottenham all on our doorstep. We could also have QPR, West Ham and Southampton all in the Premier League with us.

Having the chance to beat the best teams in the country

With all due respect to the teams like Barnsley and Doncaster it's far more exciting to have the chance to get wins over Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal!

Sticker Books

We'll now be able to collect all of our Reading heros in sticker form! "Anybody got the Reading badge shiny?"

Reading back in Pro Evolution Soccer

Forget the FIFA v PES wars and which one is better. Now PES fans will have the chance to play as Reading.. or should I say Berkshire Blues!

Fantasy Football

"Hmmm who do I pick to partner Jason Roberts up front? Torres, Rooney or Drogba? Alex Pearce might get me a fair few points for clean sheets and Federici makes a lot of saves." Now we'll have the chance to pick Reading players in the office or school fantasy football league.

But what are you most looking forward to? What is the most exciting part of our promotion back to the Premier League? Let us know your thoughts below.
