According to Brian McDermott and the Reading FC Twitter feed (as well as confirming on Talksport), the phone calls are in and Reading are waiting to hear back on one more signing before tonight's deadline.

It could be any number of players we've been linked with over the past few weeks, though the most likely player seems to be Tom Ince. Stoppilla Sunzu is another player who's been heavily backed to join the Royals in January, but his move was thought to be dead in the water. Or perhaps the long-speculated Andrei Arshavin is finally going to make the short journey down the M4 to the Madejski Stadium?
In just over three hours, all will become clear...
