Adam Federici – 7 - made a number of great saves through the game, with help from the defence.
Chris Gunter – 6 - had to swap wings throughout the course of the match but he looked comfortable.
Shaun Cummings – 5 - Looked the weak link in defence, though did suffer a first-minute injury.
Alex Pearce – 7 was noticeably marshalling the defence throughout the match, especially helping Cooper grow into the game.
Jake Cooper – 8 - Started shakily on his full debut, often him and Cummings going after the same ball but grew into his role with the guidance of Alex Pearce. He showed great potential for the future.
Hope Akpan – 6 - worked hard but was careless in possession.
Aaron Kuhl – 6 - struggled to get into the game first half but grew more as the game went on.
Nick Blackman – 6 - Took one touch to many at times but was always looking to create opportunities when presented.
Craig Tanner – 6 - largely anonymous and ineffective on full debut.
Simon Cox – 6 - Made the least of the few chances he had.
Jamie Mackie – 6 looked rusty on first full appearance, but there's more to come to him.
Subs
Long on for Cummings – 6 - didn’t set the word on fire but didn’t do anything wrong on debut.
Edwards on for Tanner – 6 - his mobility caused problems for Scunthorpe's defence, he wasn’t on long but changed the pace of the game.
Taylor on for Mackie – 7 - scored the winner but was his only contribution.
