Reading lost 3-0 at home to Derby on the weekend, responding with changes to include Nick Blackman and Hope Akpan, as Saturday's man-of-the-match Jake Taylor was on the bench and Glenn Murray injured.
The first-half can be neatly summed up in this tweet:
H/T: 0-0. Good half from #readingfc

Sadly, it counted for nothing.
It was 0-1 when Callum Wilson met Marc Pugh's cross unmarked, heading in from 6 yards. Swiftly afterwards, Brett Pitman stuck one in the back of the net for the home side. Pitman was on the scoresheet again, adding a third 10 minutes later- you guessed it- nodding home from a cross, unmarked, 6 yards out.
It reportedly could of been worse, with Adam Federici making some fine saves to spare Reading a real drubbing on the south coast.
