Full time and it's another defeat for the Royals. The outstanding Ben Marshall was the difference between the teams

Five minutes of injury time, since the third goal the game has fizzled out

******

Yellow card for Cooper for a clumsy foul on Rhodes

******

Maybe a silver lining for the Royals, Danny Williams makes his long awaited return, coming on for Akpan

Blackburn 3-1 Reading: great wing play from Marshall, Rhodes heads against the post and Gestede strikes home the rebound

******

Yellow card for Akpan

******

Double substitution by Adkins: Taylor and Robson-Kanu off, Cox and Mackie on

******

Robson-Kanu has just had a clash of heads leaving him with blood streaming down his face

******

Blackburn 2-1 Reading: Ben Marshall with a superb free kick

******

Good save from Federici after a diving header from Rhodes

******

Obita has been harshly booked

******

Sub for Blackburn - Tunnicliffe is on for Williamson

******

And we're back underway

******

Decent half from the Royals. 50-50 on possession, both teams have had 9 shots, and Reading have had 4 corners to Rovers' none

******

Half time and the scores are level

******

Blackburn 1-1 Reading: Another nice move from the Royals ends with Obita putting a lovely low cross over and Murray sneaking in at the back post. Deserved equaliser for Nigel Adkins' men

******

Murray and Taylor have both gone close, Reading are definitely still in this game

******

Classic long ball stuff from Blackburn: Steele's long kick is flicked on by Gestede and Rhodes tries to lift the ball over Federici who saves comfortably

******

Norwood goes close after good work by Robson-Kanu

******

This will be a big test for the Royals now, they've yet to win a single game after the conceding the first goal

******

Almost straight after the opener, Gestede has a good chance to double Rovers' lead

******

Blackburn 1-0 Reading: Good header from Rudy Gestede

******

Looks like we're lining up with the usual 4-4-2 with Robson-Kanu up front with Murray

Team news

Team news is in from Ewood Park and there are a couple of interesting changes for the Royals this afternoon. Jake Cooper replaces the suspended Michael Hector, with Jake Taylor and Nick Blackman replacing Simon Cox and Jamie Mackie, despite the latter's 'Man of the Match' winning performance last week.

On the bench, the injury duo of Danny Williams and Anton Ferdinand make their first appearance in a match day squad this season.
