Reading FC v Rotherham Squad Selector: The Results

So after a defeat at Blackburn we looked at who you wanted in your 18 to face Rotherham on Tuesday night.

Ben Hoskins

While the team for Blackburn all but picked itself, this one divided Reading fans.

On the one hand, the returns of Danny Williams and Anton Ferdinand created new choices but the dismal nature of the defeat up at Ewood Park certainly played a role.

While Adam Federici and Jordan Obita both won almost universal selection with 92% & 96% of the votes, the other three in the back five were far from unanimous picks.

At right-back Stephen Kelly saw his vote increase from 15% last week to 46% this time around, though Chris Gunter retained 62% of your votes to hold on to his place.

In the middle and Alex Pearce got 68% of your votes, with Anton Ferdinand (58%) picked to replace Jake Cooper (18%) and Michael Hector (58%).

In the midfield and Oliver Norwood was picked in 94% of your teams with 72% of you wanting Danny Williams to come into the side for his first start ahead of Hope Akpan on 55%.

Further forward and Simon Cox (82%), Jamie Mackie (81%) & Nick Blackman (61%) got the nods, with Hal Robson-Kanu earning just 10% of the votes to start.

Striker wise and no surprise to see Glenn Murray picked in 97% of teams.

So here's the 18 based on your votes.

SUBSTITUTES

M Andersen, S Kelly, H Akpan, A Kuhl, J Taylor, H Robson-Kanu, P Pogrebnyak
