Reading FC v Bolton Wanderers: You Choose The Squad

New, comments

Injuries and suspensions once again forced Nigel Adkins into changes for the game at Norwich but with several first team players returning to the fray does he stick or twist for Saturday's game with Bolton. Here we give you your chance to pick the squad for this weekend's game.

As always this is early in the week and injury news is harder to come by.

Jamie Mackie is set to miss out due to the injury that's kept him out of the last two games, with boss Nigel Adkins telling Get Reading's Charles Watts he's out for at least a couple of weeks. Pavel Pogrebnyak is also still a doubt but hasn't been officially ruled out yet.

Of the long-term absentees there's been no indication as to whether Danny Guthrie or Jem Karacan will be able to return but I'd be shocked to see either up for selection. Hope Akpan is certainly out due to the shoulder surgery he had after dislocating his shoulder on International duty.

One man who will be available is Alex Pearce who returns from suspension, while Anton Ferdinand got a handful of minutes at Carrow Road after recovering from injury.

Craig Tanner is in the U21's squad for their game with Villa this week so is also theoretically available for this one.

Results will go up later this week but meanwhile here's a summary of who you've voted for so far**

(** In modifying the spreadsheet to alter Jordan Obita's name from left-wing to midfield, nine votes for him were lost, these will be added back at the final count)
