Reading FC Loan Round-Up: December 5th

Good morning fellow Reading FC fans and welcome to this week's loan round-up. It's a quick one this week but we still have action from all of our loanees including Stuart Moore, Royston Drenthe and George Legg.

George Legg

Dunstable Town (Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division) - Appearances: 2

For the second game in a row there was no place for Legg in Dunstable's match squad perhaps hinting that his loan deal has come to an end. Without him Dunstable managed to halt a run of twelve winless games by beating Chesham United 3-1.

Royston Drenthe

Sheffield Wednesday (SkyBet Championship) - Appearances: 11

Drenthe's Wednesday hosted Wigan Athletic on Saturday looking to avoid a run of ten games without a win. They did just that, as Royston completed 89 minutes (replaced by Lavery) and had a hand in the opening goal during his side's 2-1 over Wigan. Wednesday fell behind midway through the first half but a brace from striker Stevie May made sure all three points remained in Yorkshire.

From the tweets below it would seem that Owls fans were impressed with the performance of the Dutch international. Let's hope he continues his form and a permanent deal can be agreed.

Stuart Moore

Basingstoke Town (Vanrama Conference South) - Appearances: 19

Stuart completed 90 minutes again this week as his Basingstoke side beat 9-man Whitehawk in the FA trophy, via a 38th minute Chris Flood strike. They drew last year's finalists Gosport Borough with the tie bing played on the 13th of December.
