Henly extends Oxford loan spell

News today that keeper Jon Henly will extend his spell at the Manor Ground Kassam Stadium for another month.

19-year-old Henly joined the League Two side at the start of the new year following a productive time for Conference Premier side Aldershot, to help provide injury cover for Ryan Clarke but hasn't been able to dislodge him from between the sticks.

In fairness, Clarke has been in outstanding form and was named League Two's player of the month award for January.

That's meant Henly has been a regular feature on the bench for the club, who are still looking to appoint a permanent manager following Chris Wilder's move to Northampton.

We'll have more news on our other loanees later this week in our usual loan report.
