How would you sum up Leeds season so far?
Very similar to the past few seasons. Going nowhere fast. The ownership saga has affected matters on the pitch and as a result we look like finishing in mid-table.
Brian was in, then he was out, then he was back in and now it seems he might be out again.... how much backing does McDermott have from the Elland Road faithful?
It is slowly disappearing by each game. I was dejected when he left the club the first time and was delighted to see him return. I think he needs time but then you look at our record. He's won two games since the first week in December? That's relegation form and no matter how much the fans love him it isn't good enough.
You've got a couple of former Royals at the club, what have you made of Noel Hunt and Jimmy Kebe so far?
Noel Hunt has done nothing, I was pleased when we signed him but he's been on the sidelines for the majority of the season. I think he had a few problems off the field and had an injury, it would be nice to see more of him but when he does play he rarely does anything.
Kebe was another I was looking forward to seeing in a white shirt, but he has been very disappointing. He doesn't look fit, and his performance against Bolton was painful. As a positive he does work hard for the team.
Reading snatched a late 1-0 win at the Madejski back in September, what did you make of the Royals that day and from what you've seen of them since?
I remember being gutted to lose the game. I think we had a chance to score seconds before and missed an open net. That's what can happen at this level. You've been scrapping away and have done well to stay within the play-off picture. I think you may just miss out on the play-offs but this division can surprise anyone.
Who are Leeds fans particularly worried about on Tuesday night?
Adam Le Fondre is the man we will be worried about. We wanted McDermott to sign him in the summer, then in January but it wasn't to be. He can score plenty at this level and with our defending he may do so on Tuesday. Alex McCarthy was great for us too, I hope he goes all the way in the game.
Anyone Reading fans should be concerned with?
Ross McCormack and Connor Wickham have linked up well together since the latter joined on loan. We will be making changes for the game so Sam Byram, Alex Mowatt should all come in and can cause problems for anyone.
Score prediction?
I am probably being stupid with this one. We could and should get beat with our form but I'm hoping McDermott can get them firing so I'll say 2-1 Leeds.
Any tips for Reading fans making the journey to Elland Road?
Enjoy yourself it is a bloody long way on a Tuesday. There's plenty of places in the city centre to have a drink and more importantly be patient. There's plenty of roadworks on the way to Leeds so it could be a long old night if we win.
Finally who are you tipping for those three promotion places?
Leicester, Wigan and Burnley.
