Injury worries ahead of Derby clash

Adkins will have a selection headache (the worst kind of headache, I think you'll find) when he comes to naming his team to play 3rd-placed Derby this weekend.

Reading are sweating over the fitness of in-form Jamaican winger Garath McCleary after he limped off against Leeds in midweek, reports Charles Watts in GetReading.

The dynamic winger netted the opener in the Royals' 4-2 win at Elland Road, then limped off before half time. Adkins and co will hope it's not a serious injury, but he will more than likely be ruled out of the game tomorrow (3pm KO).

Adkins still has injury doubts over the fitness of Pogrebnyak and Danny Williams, as well as long-term crocks Morrison, Roberts, Bridge and Karacan.
