It was a hard-fought battle in the end, with two players taking nearly 80% of the vote between them, but it was winger Garath McCleary who took the Player of the Month gong for April (and the final match in May).
McCleary grabbed 42% of the vote, with his season-closing goal against Burnley no doubt fresh in the minds of our voters.
Alex Pearce pushed McCleary close in the end, himself taking 35% of the poll - hopefully Pearcey can carry that form into next season.
Danny Williams came third in the vote with 16%, despite playing just four of our seven matches in the period, whilst Jordan Obita couldn't add to his seasonal heroics, taking 7% and fourth place.
In the coming weeks we'll be looking back at the season, using these votes and our Man Of The Match polls, to see who was (statistically) the Royals' best player this campaign.
