During the Andrew Peach show on BBC Radio Berskhire, Tim Dellor reported that the takeover of Reading FC is rather close, as you can listen here.
Furthermore, BBC sports journalist Nabil Hassan backed up this claim with this midday tweet.
#readingfc takeover set to be agreed by the weekend according to @BBCBerkshire. Would still need Football League approval. Club £20m in debt

Any deal would be subject to Football League approval, but it is known that the club have been in discussions with several parties. Most notably, these are rival bidders Mohit Burman and Teddy Sagi, with further interest from Ireland and America. The Israeli Sagi has already dropped into the Mad Stad via his personal helicopter, and Indian Burman is due to arrive in Berkshire for talks any day now.
All this comes after the departure of Chris Samuelson and Andrew Obolensky, who followed Anton Zingarevich out of the boardroom door, which many hoped would help speed up a sale.
