Sadly we can't offer any form of payment (as much as we'd like too!) however if you're interested in developing your writing skills and getting your work in front of an audience, we can offer the chance to get yourself published on a website that had over 50,000 hits in May alone, over 3,000 Twitter followers as well as a few hundred likes on Facebook.
We don't require any form of previous writing experience, though it is helpful! So if you've got any interest or any questions about getting involved please do get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org or by using our twitter handle @thetilehurstend
While we're always on the lookout for contributors, be they for one off pieces or more regular features, here's a list of specific roles we're looking to fill this season.
A weekly round up looking at how Reading's players have performed each week. This can be as detailed or as brief as you want but it's a great way to keep tabs on players for the future.
We're on the lookout for someone whose happy to keep a keen eye on the gossip sites to help us produce a regular transfer news column over the summer and January windows. Again it can be as brief or detailed as you want (and given our recent lack of activity probably brief!) but more the merrier! Obviously this one will die down significantly during the season so might be ideal if you're a student who will have a fair chunk of time over August and January.
Similar to the loan reporter, this will simply be a quick weekly or bi-weekly round up of goings on in the Academy and perhaps the odd match report for bigger games like FA Youth Cup etc.
Finally, we'll always be open for people to submit the odd piece here and there, we'll never turn away good work! However it would be good to get a few staff writers on board who are happy chipping in with more.
So if any of the above do interest you, or you'd like to find out more please do drop us an email to email@example.com or to the twitter account @thetilehurstend.
