Nottingham Forest 4-0 Reading FC: Player Ratings

So you've read Neil's match report, now it's time to rate the players from last night's defeat at Nottingham Forest - and, of course, vote for your Reading man of the match.

Tony Marshall

Federici 7:  Forest would have added 2 or 3 more were it not for the 'keeper.

Gunter 3: Led by poor example.  Weak for two match-deciding second half goals.

Cummings 5: I'd hoped not to see Cummings in a Reading shirt again after his diabolical showing at Peterborough in the Cup last season.  Adkins can't even necessarily use the 'needs must' excuse to explain why this flop has been selected again.

Pearce 5: A mediocre performance alongside an harangued Hector.

Hector 4: Owned by Assombalonga.

Taylor 4: Curiously chosen to play in a wide role despite presence of Obita.  Showed little.

Blackman 5: Willing if not hugely able.

Obita 5: Centre-mid is not his position.

Kuhl 6: Showed promise and naivety in equal measure.

Edwards 5: Lightweight.

Cox 4: Showed on the day that Forest's loss was not necessarily Reading's gain.

Norwood 5: Half an hour opportunity to show some promise.  Didn't take that opportunity.

Tanner 5: Anonymous
