Derby Away in the League Cup 3rd Round

A trip to the iPro Stadium awaits Reading, as reward for a 1-0 win at Scunthorpe.

Steve McClaren's team are currently 7th in the Championship, and beat Charlton at home in the previous round.

The game will come after a trip to Sheffield Wednesday, before hosting Wolves the following Sunday in front of the television cameras.

Reading do have a terrific record in Derby, with just 1 defeat since September 2004- during the Brendan Rodgers period- and a 3-1 win last season.
