Formation wise and the traditionalists won the day, with 4-4-2 winning on 42% ahead of 4-2-3-1 on 29% and 4-3-3 on 20%.

For the first time in squad selector history you voted for a keeper not named Federici to start, with 52% of you plumping for Mikkel Andersen to get the nod.

The back four was again unchanged with Obita, Gunter, Pearce & Hector all earning at least 79% of your votes.

There was however a rare mood for change in the middle of the park, with Jem Karacan (59%) just edging out Oliver Norwood (58%) to partner Danny Williams (74%). Danny Guthrie was also a strong choice with 41%, with Nathaniel Chalobah not signed at the time the poll was created.

Garath McCleary was a lock for one of the wing spots with 78% of you picking him but the other side was again a closer call with Hal Robson-Kanu (44%) just about taking a place ahead of Nick Blackman (39%), the now injured Jamie Mackie (29%) and the now departed Royston Drenthe (5%).

Pavel Pogrebnyak (64%) was your leading striker, with Simon Cox dropping down to just 42% and only just edging out Blackman, and Dom Samuel (30%) for the second striker slot.
