Experienced defender Jos Hooiveld is eligible to face Reading FC at The Den tomorrow evening after joining on loan from Southampton.

Ian Holloway's sixth signing of the January transfer window further strengthens the side.

On signing, he told the club's official site:

"I want as much success as possible - as many wins and as many clean sheets as we can - which is just what every footballer hopes for," Hooiveld said after putting pen-to-paper.

"It is very important (to be playing regularly) and I'm no different from anyone else.

"I had a very nice and positive conversation with the manager. We had a good connection.

"Every game from now on is massive. It isn't just one game that decides it - there are 20."

Hooiveld had been on loan at fellow Championship side Norwich City this season, but when that loan was terminated The Lions pounced.

Hooiveld has previously spent time at Heerenveen, Zwolle, Kapfenberger SV in Austria and Inter Turku in Finland; he made his move to British shores when he joined Celtic in 2010.

Does this signing raise any concerns about the game tomorrow?
