Following tonight's draw, Reading will face Cardiff City in the fourth round of the FA Cup. The match will be played at the Cardiff City Satdium on the weekend of the 24th/25th January.

The Royals reached the fourth round of the competition with a win at Huddersfield on Saturday. Nick Blackman scored the only goal of the game at the John Smith's Stadium in Steve Clarke's fourth game in charge. You can read Dave's match report here, and check out his player ratings here.

As Charles Watts of the Reading Post has pointed out, Reading's cup progress means that the league fixture against Millwall at the New Den will have to be rescheduled, as it was originally meant to be played on that same weekend.

Reading last faced Cardiff City in November 2014, when an Alex Pearce horror show saw the Royals fall to a 2-1 defeat.
