Michael Hector has taken to Instagram to front up and accept his — and the club's — poor recent form alongside an image of something thrillingly motivational.
The Jamaican international, who signed for Chelsea for a fee rumoured to be £4 million, captained The Royals as they lost 2-0 to Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon but put in a poor performance, marred by basic defensive errors and a number of slack actions in possession of the ball.
He captioned his post with:
-
Will never doubt myself or my teammates. Yeah, it's been a tough month but it's the same team and players that went on a great run the month before. A long way to go in the season and a lot of points to play for still.
The International break has come at a good time for the sliding Biscuitmen, and Clarke will hope the attitude displayed by Hector is the same throughout the team so they can get back to winning ways.
