VOTE: Which Reading FC Loanees Should Stay Beyond January?

Should Tim Dellor drive Matěj Vydra back to Watford? Should Michael Hector and Lucas Piazon carpool back to Chelsea? Does Álex Fernández deserve another five months at the Madejski Stadium? We want YOUR verdict on Reading's six loanees.

The transfer window is about to open and one of the biggest debates amongst Reading fans is on the future of the six players currently on loan at the club. It is probably fair to say that most of them have not covered themselves in glory.

Matěj Vydra looks a quality player devoid of confidence, Ola John blows hot and cold, Álex Fernández has barely played and the two Chelsea loanees, Michael Hector and Lucas Piazon, have done the impossible and managed to become more unpopular than Hal Robson-Kanu. Only Andrew Taylor has played regularly and come in for little criticism but at 29 he might not be considered much of a long-term option.

Nothing makes having so many loanees look unwise more than the Football League rules which dictate that only five loan players are allowed in matchday squads. We do not know for definite whether there are break clauses in the loan deals but most modern long-term loans do allow both clubs to terminate the deal in January.

We want to find out YOUR verdict on each player. Please vote in the form and let us know your answers in the comments section below.
