Reading host Bradford in a Quarter final replay after a 0-0 draw at Valley Parade 9 days ago. They come into tonight's game as favourites to qualify to play against Arsenal in the Semi final (1.50), with Bradford available at 3.20.
The Royals are seen as strong favourites to win in 90 minutes with Reading having been priced up at a best price of 1.91, this price, given the 0-0 draw in which Bradford probably shaded the chances, indicates a very skinny price, with the 3.60 available on the draw a better option for tonight, for the game to head to extra time. Bradford are available at a big price of 5.25 given their current FA cup run so far to win in 90 minutes.
Bradford rested 5 players on Saturday, whilst Reading rested 8, from their previous league games during the midweek fixtures. Bradford may be tiring later in the match therefore, if the squad is not rotated fully, and the Draw HT, Reading FT bet at 5.00 is an enticing one tonight. Draw HT, Draw FT is also interesting at 5.50, with the game I think to be a very similar tie to the Valley Parade match, very short of chances and low scoring.
Bearing that in mind, I would look at 0-0 to come up again possibly tonight, with the price being available at 9.00, Reading to win 1-0 is available at a very short 7.00, given that if Reading go 1-0 up, Bradford will have to come forward and attack Reading, this may lead to Reading scoring on the break, and a 2-0 scoreline is a better option I think at 8.50. Bradford to snatch is 1-0 in what is probably the neutrals favourite scoreline tonight is available at a nice price of 12.00.
Recommended Bets:
1) Draw HT/Reading FT - I think the home advantage will pay off for the Royals tonight, however it may take them until the second half to break down Bradford, who will be 100% at the Reading players tonight. The second half will potentially see them tire, and Reading could pick the Bantams off during the second half and go through.
2) Reading to win 2-0 - If Reading can take the lead, I would be surprised if they cannot score once Bradford attack on the counter. Bradford will come at Reading hard if they take the lead, and Reading are well set up to take the game away from a team who attack them.
