The incident in question appears to have occurred in full view of the TV cameras as GMac picked up the ball to take a corner towards the end of the first-half in the south-west corner of the Madejski Stadium. While doing so, a visiting supporter clearly upset the Jamaican international, with both a nearby steward and linesman urging the Reading man to continue with the game while the incident was dealt with.
Furthermore, McCleary was still visibly angered by whatever was said as he went off for half-time. Now, with the game done and dusted, it appears that an arrest has been made against the offending person - as confirmed by GetReading reporter Charles Watts below.

There has also been a statement from the club, saying:
"An incident was reported to the match officials just before half time, who in turn told Reading staff. A man was then arrested and ejected during the half-time interval."
As well as this, Royals boss Steve Clarke confirmed that McCleary was justifiably distracted, with the Daily Mirror reporting the Scot as saying:
"He was upset by something but I don't know what yet."
It seems that this was a well-dealt with situation by the club, to which we commend, and would also like to congratulate the vast majority of Bradford fans for their part in providing an excellent atmosphere, with both sets of fans applauding each other at the final whistle.
