Reading sign Chelsea youngster Nathan Ake - Reading Official Site

Reading have signed Nathan Ake on an initial one month's loan from Chelsea. The 20-year-old can play left back, centre back or defensive midfield. He has played for Chelsea in the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League and FA cup. He is cup tied so cannot feature for Reading in the FA cup semi final.

Guthrie heads to Fulham - Reading Official Site

With his contract at Reading up in the summer, Danny Guthrie has been allowed to leave the club before the loan deadline at 5pm on Thursday to play out the season with Fulham. Steve Clarke said that with Danny's time at the club coming to an end, it was right to give him the chance to play some matches.

Taylor on the move to Orient - Reading Official Site

Jake Taylor has signed a loan deal at Leyton Orient until the end of the season. Steve Clarke speaks very fondly of Taylor, admiring his attitude when he trains, but says he desrves more time on the pitch, which he won't get at Reading this year.

Kwesi Appiah joins on loan from Palace - Reading Official Site

24 year old Kwesi Appiah becomes Steve Clarke's second loan signing this week, following Nathan Ake. Appiah is a striker, and has had limited opportunities at Crystal Palace since returning from teh Africa Cup of Nations, where he played for Ghana. The front man was on loan at Cambridge earlier this season and scored plenty of goals, earning him first ever call-up to the Ghana squad.
