Nearly a whole point dropped for Clarke's rating, as you awarded him an average of 3.22 out of 5 for his first two and a half months.

Goals have been hard to come by for Reading and the clean sheets have dried up too, but on the plus side the Royals head to Bradford City on Saturday just ninety minutes away from Wembley and an FA Cup Semi Final, so there are still positives. You might say this weekend's match is the most important game of Clarke's fledgling Reading career, and it'll certainly impact on his rating in this column next month.
