Likely FA Cup Replay Date Announced for Reading FC v Bradford City

The 0-0 draw at Valley Parade means we have to do it all again at the Madejski Stadium but with a crowded fixture list when will that be? Here's the latest.

Here's what Reading FC have had to say on the official site.

The tie is likely to be played on Monday 16th March at Madejski Stadium with an 8pm kick-off, but cannot be confirmed until the other FA Cup ties have been played.

No other dates are available that week because the FA are not allowed to schedule FA Cup games on the same night as UEFA fixtures, and there is a full programme of Champions League and Europa League games that week.

As a result, our home game against Birmingham would move from its current date of Tuesday 17th March, and would be played on a midweek evening during the week commencing 20th April.

Prices would match those of the initial tie - adults £15, 65 & over/17-21 £10, 16 & under £5. On sale dates to be confirmed.

Both Reading and Bradford will be in the semi-final draw, which will be made at Old Trafford on Monday evening

So no confirmed date just yet, we'll have to wait till the end of Monday's game for that one. The more worrying aspect would be both clubs having to play a game just over 48 hours from previous league games, with Reading travelling to face promotion chasing Watford and Bradford away at Notts County.  At this late stage it would be tricky to move those games but I suppose it's a possibility that those league fixtures could get switched to the day before on Friday.

The semi-finals are due to be held on April 18th and 19th at Wembley.
