Adam Federici - 6
His save from Koscielny should have been the moment he was remembered for from today. It was the Australian at his best but sadly Arsenal's winner will live long on the minds. Will need a show of support from the fans on Wednesday.
Chris Gunter - 7
Kept Sanchez quiet apart from the winning goal. One of his best defensive displays in a Reading shirt. At times was wasteful in possession.
Michael Hector - 8
Boy is this lad good. Classy on the ball, an eye for a tackle and pacy. Surely he will play in the Premier League at some point?
Alex Pearce - 7
His improvement under Clarke was epitomised by today. Along with Hector he kept Danny Welbeck so quiet the England man was withdrawn without much notice. The introduction of Giroud did not make much difference.
Jordan Obita - 7
Went a bit under the radar and with Aaron Ramsey cutting inside so much he didn't have as much defensive work to do as his colleagues. Got better going forward as the game went on.
Nathaniel Chalobah - 8
A commanding display from the Chelsea loanee. Looked assured in possession and coped well with the roaming of Arsenal's midfield. A Premier League performance and I would be surprised if we see him at the Madejski Stadium next season.
Danny Williams - 8
A real fans favourite performance. His energy never wavered and we saw plenty of his trademark surges through the middle.
Hal Robson-Kanu - 5
Not the cup heroics we've come accustomed to. Very quiet display in the first half. Improved in the second half before being sacrificed for Karacan just before the end of the 90 minutes.
Jamie Mackie - 7
You can never question his effort though at times the timing of his runs could be better. Caused Arsenal's defence problems without getting a real chance on goal.
Pavel Pogrebnyak - 6
Led the line well but wasted two wonderful breakaways. Showed his class with the assist for our equaliser.
Garath McCleary - 7
Quiet first half. Lost Sanchez for the first goal but markedly improved in the second half. His goal will be a moment to remember for all Reading fans in Wembley today.
Subs:
Jem Karacan - 6
Got a huge cheer when he came onto the pitch. Once again showed his lengthy spell out hasn't seen him lose any of his ability. Has to get a new contract.
Simon Cox - 5
Ran around a lot without making an impact. Almost caught Sanchez with an ugly tackle.
Yakubu Aiyegbeni - 5
Struggled to get into the game though did show a few nice touches.
