The reverse fixture last season, another early season game, finished 1-0 to Reading after Jake Taylor's first league goal for the club. The last meeting between the sides also finished 1-0 to the Royals thanks to Jamie Mackie's early strike.
FA Cup games aside, Reading were only broadcast live from the Championship twice; the 3-3 draw with Wolves in the first months of the season and the last day victory away to Derby County as the Rams chased the play-offs. The next batch of televised games will be announced in July.
