He says he's achieved a boyhood dream by signing for the club after living in Turkey as a boy, and is looking forward to playing in the Champions League next season.

After her success at the Women's World Cup, Chelsea have signed the highly rated Fran Kirby, who has been at Reading since she was 8. Fran takes the time to reflect on her time at Reading and thank the club for all that they have done for her. She explains that ‘£50,000’ is a massive amount in the ladies game, saying "I’m proud that Reading have got a transfer fee for me, because investment is so important to the ladies setup".

Danny Williams gives his thoughts on new signings – Get Reading
Danny Williams says new signings Paul McShane, Stephen Quinn, Orlando Sa and Jonathan Bond have all settled into the squad well and "are all very nice guys" and suggests the great team spirit at Reading has made it easy for them to do so. He also praises the young players who have gone on the tour.
Williams also gives his thoughts on the friendly with the Thai Premier League Allstars, where Reading just snatched a draw late on, saying the Thai team kept the ball well and were quick. He says this goes to show how much football is developing all over the world.
Ali Al-Habsi expected to sign in next few days – Get Reading
Former Wigan goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi, who has been training with Reading in recent weeks and has gone on the club’s preseason tour, is expected to sign a deal in the next few days according to manager Steve Clarke. Clarke says the goalkeeper is happy at Reading and is keen to sign, so its just a case of getting the contracts signed as quickly as possible.
