We asked you for your thoughts on the Thai consortium one year on from the first rumours of the deal. You didn't disappoint.

This morning one of The Tilehurst End's assistant editors happened to mention that it's been a year since the Thai takeover news surfaced. We thought this was the perfect time to reach out and ask for your thoughts on the consortium, after you voted to give them a 3.76/5 in our approval rating.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en-gb"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">It&#39;s been one year since <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/readingfc?src=hash">#readingfc</a> announced the Thai deal. Some of you were cautiously optimistic

Daniel Wimbush on Facebook:

Refreshing restraint after the excesses of the Anton era. Still need to see proof of their long-term commitment and desire to see the team move forward but cautiously optimistic so far.

Some of you were downright happy

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" lang="en-gb"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/TheTilehurstEnd">@TheTilehurstEnd</a> so far they&#39;ve made all the right noises and not done anything reckless. I don&#39;t think we can hope for more at this point.</p>&mdash; Tim Collieu (@HuguenotTim) <a href="https://twitter.com/HuguenotTim/status/627113491636310016">July 31, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Some of you were pretty pessimistic

Ian Philips on Facebook:

Want to be careful what I say but it all seems good so far. It was a nice start last year with them supposedly fronting the cash for Cox. Then everything went a bit quiet but now we are up and running again. Nice to see they are supporting other signings I just hope it doesn't work out too good to be true again!

One of you was downright negative about the whole thing.

Garry Rickett on Facebook:

Still wont spend big.its goals that get us out the championship and strikers like beric cost money and we wont pay more than 2 million on a player.so to me were always gonna be a championship team

Erm... One of you was... Pretty creepy.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" lang="en-gb"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/TheTilehurstEnd">@TheTilehurstEnd</a> I think Sasima Srivikorn is a tasty, hot little bit of chicken. So I&#39;m delighted with the deal <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TTEthaikover?src=hash">#TTEthaikover</a></p>&mdash; Andy Walker (@andywalker1871) <a href="https://twitter.com/andywalker1871/status/627097046588256256">July 31, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
