Hello. It's been a while—it's been 3 months and 8 days, in fact. A lot has happened in that time, most of which you're likely aware of (and bored of), which is why I'm not going to go delving back into the summer tweets. Rather, I'll be starting with the season opener against Birmingham and moving through the following week. Makes sense, right?
So, without further ado...
Ever feel cheated out of a win?
1. Goal over the line 2. Birmingham player in the box before penalty was in motion Good job @football_league #readingfc #CheatedOutOfAWin
— Tom Wisniewski (@hitfour6) August 9, 2015
Do laugh at Birmingham fans getting chopsy, outplayed today and you got lucky. No doubt in my mind #readingfc will finish above you.
— Martyn Coffey (@Elnino2201) August 8, 2015
This guy felt cheated out of a game... by his memory.
Nearly arrived at Birmingham... Oh wait. Forgot the tickets. Yep. #readingfc
— Sam Rourke (@rfcrourke) August 8, 2015
Coincidentally, that Birmingham game was also the debut of our "African Violet" kit. Inspired by an artist, yes?
Good morning art lovers. I'm off to Birmingham for the Reading game and THAT away strip inspired by Monet! #ReadingFC pic.twitter.com/TDdiB8Ow3Y

It wasn't long before the players had a chance to get that loss out of their system.
