Hello. It's been a while—it's been 3 months and 8 days, in fact. A lot has happened in that time, most of which you're likely aware of (and bored of), which is why I'm not going to go delving back into the summer tweets. Rather, I'll be starting with the season opener against Birmingham and moving through the following week. Makes sense, right?
So, without further ado...
Ever feel cheated out of a win?
Do laugh at Birmingham fans getting chopsy, outplayed today and you got lucky. No doubt in my mind #readingfc will finish above you.— Martyn Coffey (@Elnino2201) August 8, 2015
This guy felt cheated out of a game... by his memory.
Nearly arrived at Birmingham... Oh wait. Forgot the tickets. Yep. #readingfc— Sam Rourke (@rfcrourke) August 8, 2015
Coincidentally, that Birmingham game was also the debut of our "African Violet" kit. Inspired by an artist, yes?
It wasn't long before the players had a chance to get that loss out of their system.
Though some fans MAY be getting ahead of themselves with the praise...
We'll be at Wembley in the spring saying do you remember Colchester away.... #ReadingFC— Loyal Royal (@RoyalstilIdie) August 11, 2015
Man people think we are going to struggle this season. We just tore apart a majestic footballing side in Colchester. Glamour tie #readingfc— Daniel North (@DNorth21) August 11, 2015

Hurtado arrives. Finally. The rumours had been doing the rounds for what felt like months.
Then news broke of Academy Manager Eamonn Dolan's struggles with cancer. Thus, #21forDolan was born.
And it kicked off.
Get well soon to Eamonn Dolan, who is currently undergoing a course of chemotherapy after having a tumour removed from his bladder. #ECFC— Exeter City FC (@OfficialECFC) August 13, 2015

This guy predicted it.

This is my third season covering #readingfc. Had one home cup draw in that time and nine away. Amazing.— Charles Watts (@charles_watts) August 13, 2015
Not with Watts round.
Though it may not be a bad thing... ;)
