Tweets of the Week makes its long anticipated (?) return after an extended summer break.

Hello. It's been a while—it's been 3 months and 8 days, in fact. A lot has happened in that time, most of which you're likely aware of (and bored of), which is why I'm not going to go delving back into the summer tweets. Rather, I'll be starting with the season opener against Birmingham and moving through the following week. Makes sense, right?

So, without further ado...

Ever feel cheated out of a win?

This guy felt cheated out of a game... by his memory.

Coincidentally, that Birmingham game was also the debut of our "African Violet" kit. Inspired by an artist, yes?

It wasn't long before the players had a chance to get that loss out of their system.

Though some fans MAY be getting ahead of themselves with the praise...

Hurtado arrives. Finally. The rumours had been doing the rounds for what felt like months.

Then news broke of Academy Manager Eamonn Dolan's struggles with cancer. Thus, #21forDolan was born.

And it kicked off.

Seriously.

And breathe.

Also this week, we found out who we're getting in the next round of the League Cup.

This guy predicted it.

These guys liked it.

Will we ever play a cup game at home again?

Not with Watts round.

Though it may not be a bad thing... ;)
