Reading FC Away Days - Episode 2: Burnley FC

Relive the win at Turf Moor with our latest Away Days video.

The way the Reading played was exquisite. It's a shame I can't say the same about our fans' atmosphere.

We're back for another Away Days, here after missing out Bristol (due to complications), but what a win we come back with. Reading travelled to Burnley and won! Yes we won (as I'm sure almost all of you know). The performance of the team was fantastic and we are back to some of our best defensive play for a while. The way that the boys were able to work together and be good as a unit impressed me a lot, and the fact that they didn't let too much go to Bond was good. I thought Reading would look a little bit less safe with the introduction of Hector replacing Ferdinand, but he's been solid almost every game he's been in, making me think that if Cooper comes in, he'll be brilliant also.

Going forward, we didn't have a terrible game, Nick Blackman once again impressing me who's been absolutely solid all year. 7 in 7 for him and now and surely it's got to get worse (I hope not). A person who shocked me for his performance was Hal Robson-Kanu; I think that's his yearly decent game, so now he'll be a lump again probably.

Apart from that the only bad performance was Jonathan Bond, once again making another mistake, but luckily it wasn't major enough to have us concede, but apart from that it was a great result and great day for the Royals.
