With eight goals so far this season it's no surprise to see Nick Blackman up for the award but perhaps a little more unexpected is the nod given to Orlando Sa, who's missed the past three games due to suspension, with his red card arguably costing us the game against Derby. That being said, his hat-trick against Ipswich live in front of a TV audience was the Championship's first hat-trick of the season and that in itself deserves recognition.
Their competition includes the league's top scorer Charlie Austin, Jordan Rhodes, former Reading target Clayton Donaldson and a man we'll be facing on Saturday, Middlesbrough's Kike.
The award is being run in conjunction with Sky Sports and fans are being to asked to vote online to support their candidate, with voting also up for the Premier League, League One and League Two.
We'll have our own Player of the Month award up in the next day or so but in the meantime go ahead and give these two your support.
