After taking a bit of a hammering midweek, the Royals return back to the Madejski after two away games to take on Brighton. Unfortunately our value bets on Reading have not paid off as of yet! Let's hope for a different result on Saturday as we host the Seagulls.

1X2 Market

Reading go into the game against the top of the table side at a stand out price of 3.75. This has drifted from the earlier price this week of 3.60. However, calculated odds show Reading should be at 3.77 for this game. The draw price is currently sat a 3.40 shot, again, this has drifted slightly from the 3.35 earlier this week. Calculated odds show the fair price sits at 3.45. The away side have sat at a constant price of 2.25 this week so far, slightly behind their fair price of 2.27. Therefore there is no recommended bet on the 1X2 market for the weekend.

Correct Score Market

The correct score market unfortunately bears little value for us either this weekend, and with the game being very fairly priced up front, it is of little surprise we're seeing little to no value elsewhere. There is a very small amount of value sitting on Reading to win 3-0, with this being priced at 51.0, and the calculated price at 37.3. The % edge we have is at 0.7%, which is a nice play, however at such long odds, is tough to recommend! There's also a small amount of juice available on 2-1 Reading with the fair price at 12.4, vs the actual price of 13.0.

Goals Markets

In the goals market however, there is a small amount of value available, the over 2.5 goals market is giving us our best edge this week, with the price at 2.30 being available at the bookmakers. However, our calculations make this out to be 2.16, giving us almost a 3.0% edge, this is going to be the first recommended bet of the week. We also see a good amount of value sitting on over 1.5 and over 3.5 goals as well this weekend. The BTTS market again proves to look like value, with BTTS YES being available at 2.00, however our calculated odds are putting it closer to 1.91. A nice 2.5% edge vs the bookmaker price, and our 2nd recommended bet of the week.
