Craig Tanner is the latest name to head out the Reading FC exit door, albeit temporarily as the forward rejoins Plymouth until the end of the season. Operating as a midfielder or attacker, Tanner can now add to the 19 appearances made during the first half of the 2015/16 campaign before his stay had initially expired a few days ago.
Tanner told reporters:
"I am really happy to be back and am looking forward to continuing our promotion push."
"I think I've contributed quite well as far as assists go - now I'd like to add a few more goals."
The four goals that Tanner eluded to include a terrific volley for the league leaders against Gillingham in the Capital One Cup first round, which you can see below at the 5:30 mark.
Are you happy to see Tanner off gaining experience in the lower leagues or should he be fighting to be Nick Blackman's replacement? Comment below.
