Here are the key battles for The Royals, as they look to make it five consecutive league wins when they face Bristol City on Saturday.

Liam Moore vs Tammy Abraham

19-year-old Tammy Abraham has been in sensational form since signing on loan from Chelsea in the summer. In my view, he has been one of signings of the season in the Championship, with the striker netting 12 goals in 21 appearances in all competitions for The Robins this season.

From studying his first ten goals, Abraham is a real fox in the box, a striker looking to feed from low crosses or profit from mistakes made by goalkeepers. Abraham is also a real threat in the air due to the height that the young lad possess.

The best person to deal with this threat would be Liam Moore — the centre-back has played a huge part in Reading's recent fine form with four clean sheets in the last four games.

Moore has the height and pace to deal with the traits and qualities that Abraham has, which could therefore lead to a fascinating one on one duel throughout the 90 minutes.

Here's a video of Tammy Abraham showcasing his talents in a Bristol City shirt.

Chris Gunter vs Lee Tomlin

Tomlin, who completed a permanent switch to Aston Gate in the summer following a loan spell from Bournemouth, has made a decent impact so far this season. So far during the current campaign the 27 year old has four goals and five assists in 19 appearances.

Last season whilst on loan, Tomlin scored six goals and got two assists in 18 appearances, as Bristol City finished 18th with the same points as Reading (52).

Playing on either side of midfield and down the middle, Tomlin has played a pivotal role in Bristol City's season.

The former Middlesbrough and Bournemouth player has the ability to create something out of nothing and will also be looking to supply Abraham with chances to test Reading goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi.

His opponent down Bristol City's left hand side will be Chris Gunter. The Welshman has performed well in recent weeks, helping his side stay solid at the back and also chipping in with a rare goal.

It will be the right back's job to stop the low crosses from finding there way in the penalty area, with Abraham looking to take any chances coming his way.

Gunter will therefore need to be on his guard, as Bristol City look to end a three game winless run.

Dominic Samuel vs Hordur Magnusson

Icelandic international Hordur Magnusson was signed from Serie A champions Juventus in the summer and has played every game so far this season. However, the centre back has conceded 21 goals and only kept three clean sheets in the process.

Looking to take advantage will be Dominic Samuel. The 23-year-old should keep his place following a good first league start for The Royals in which he bagged the opener against Burton Albion.

The striker caused The Brewers' defence all sorts of problems with his pace and the ability to run in behind. Samuel should therefore be full of confidence, as he looks to build on his impressive performance from last week.
