Reading made it two wins from two with a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest last weekend, with Chris Gunter an unlikely and surprising goalscorer. What wasn't so surprising that plenty of you picked up points in the Prediction League, with 26 people predicting a Reading win. FootballFan77, Joe_Evening, RiskAverse, Vince4788 and TTE assistant editor Will Jones all got it spot on with the 2-0 result. Will was also one of four people to guess Garath McCleary as the first goalscorer, meaning he picks up the maximum three points.
On Saturday, the Royals travel to 22nd placed Wigan Athletic who have recently appointed former Manchester United coach Warren Joyce as their new manager. All you have to do is guess the score of the game and say who you think will score the first goal in the comments below. A correct score earns two points, a correct result earns one point as does a correct first goalscorer.
I think the score will be 1-1, with Adam Le Fondre being the first goalscorer. This series is of course done alongside Reading FC Away Days, and by watching their video which comes out later, you can find out what James and Adam think will happen.
