A photo that on the surface looks like a brilliant squad picture from the Reading FC Christmas party, has led to fears that Garath McCleary may be injured as in the picture the winger is wearing a protective boot.
Yakou Meite tweeted the photo which sees Tennai Watson dressed as a Christmas cracker and Tyler Blackett as a Christmas pudding amongst other festive costumes. Liam Moore also tweeted it, but has since (suspiciously?) deleted it.

Garath McCleary, one of many elves in the photo, does worryingly have a protective boot on though. It has sparked concerns from fans that he may be injured, and if true this comes at the worst possible time.
The 29 year old has seven goals and six assists so far this season, and set up goals for both Dominic Samuel and George Evans against Blackburn last weekend. He is certainly enjoying the best spell of his Royals career since the 2013-14 season.
Stay tuned to The Tilehurst End for any updates on the situation, which hopefully isn't too serious for G-Mac.
