2016 may have been a mixed year for Reading results-wise, but it sure did conjure up some brilliant goals.

Lucas Piazon vs Huddersfield Town, FA Cup, January 19

With Reading two goals down at home to the Terriers in a FA Cup replay, Lucas Piazon sparked a comeback with this cracking free kick.

Yann Kermorgant vs Charlton Athletic, Championship, February 27

In a first half full of attacking verve that showed Reading under Brian McDermott 2.0 at their very best, Yann Kermorgant netted this beauty against his old club.

Ola John vs Bolton Wanderers, Championship, April 2

The Dutch winger blew hot and cold in his loan spell at Reading, but at his best he was capable of stunning strikes like this.

John Swift vs Barnsley, Championship, September 17

In a big win for the Royals, former Chelsea and Brentford playmaker John Swift slammed this shot from range past the helpless Adam Davies.
