In his weekly news conference Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has confirmed that one of his goalkeepers looks likely to leave the club but it won't be Julian Speroni.
AP: There are two clubs involved [with a possible loan for Alex McCarthy]. He's a great goalie and we want to get him up to speed.

AP: He needs game time and we've taken that option rather than Jules going out on loan. He's Palace through and through.

AP: Bringing in another goalkeeper is another option we're considering, but I won't say names.

The final tweet does suggest a little bit of wriggle room but overall that sounds like Speroni won't be leaving Selhurst Park this January.
As for former Reading keeper Alex McCarthy, well Fulham are one of the clubs interested according to Sky Sports News but could we be the other club in the frame? Let's hope so but again I wouldn't hold out too much hope given the six loanees we've already got.
