It's fair to say that things haven't noticeably picked up too much since Brian McDermott was appointed Reading manager around a month and a half ago. That's reflected in your first approval rating of his work, a lowly 2.55 out of 5. For comparison's sake, Steve Clarke's final rating was 2.71 out of 5, off the back of one win in eight matches and the whole Fulham will he/won't he debacle...
Whether it's frustration that another season seems to be heading nowhere too soon, or you're unhappy to see him back in the dugout, it seems there's plenty to work on for McDermott both on and off the field. Results haven't vastly improved, although from experience it tends to take time for him to work the oracle with his teams. Of course, that could be a rod for his own back if things don't get better, though as ever the biggest commodities for a manager are patience, time and support - so let's wait and see how things play out.
Thanks for your votes - the results are below. We'll be back in around a month to see if you're feeling any better about the situation then.
