It's great news for Reading's young centre back Jake Cooper, who's today been officially selected for an upcoming England u20 squad. Despite some recent shaky form, the academy graduate has certainly broken into the first team this season, having first impressed under Nigel Adkins. Cooper had previously appeared once for England's u18 team, and twice for the u19s.

The u20 squad, selected by manager Keith Downing, consists of a grand total of 20 players, with teams from Premier League to League One level being represented. There aren't many overly recognisable faces, although 18-year old Marcus Rashford is already a household name.

The Three Lions will face their Canadian counterparts in Doncaster on Easter Sunday, kicking off at 4pm.
