Reading FC striker Rowan Liburd has signed for Wycombe Wanderers on loan for one month, with the Chairboys in desperate need for firepower.
Gareth Ainsworth's side currently sit ninth in fourth tier just a point outside the play-offs, but have scored only six times in 2016. 23 year old Liburd, who signed from non-league Billericay Town in the summer, hasn't had any trouble finding the net so far this season, getting 11 goals in 14 games for the Under 21s so far this season. Two of those have come at Wycombe's Adams Park, where Martin Kuhl's youngsters play some of their home games.
Liburd has also made three substitute appearances for the first team this campaign, coming off the bench against Cardiff, Nottingham Forest and Brentford.
On the move, Gareth Ainsworth said:
"I've seen Reading's under-21s play on countless occasions and he's scored virtually every time. He's a big lad who's very quick across the ground and knows where the goal is, and we're very much looking forward to working with him."
Liburd also tweeted:
Pleased to announce that I've joined @wwfcofficial on loan for month. pic.twitter.com/78ib5lz7Ll

In other loan news, young goalkeeper George Legg has joined National League South Side Gosport Borough, also for just a month. Best of luck to the pair!
